Hazen Bay Recreation Area is located on the southern shores of Lake Sakakawea and offers access to several modern and primitive campsites. In addition the recreation area has several other facilities including showers, fish cleaning station, picnic shelters, and Frisbee golf. There is also a small store where bait and gas is available.
