Fort Stevenson State Park, located on the north shore of Lake Sakakawea, is known as the walleye capital of North Dakota. Featuring two large marinas and several other camping amenities, it is the ND's most popular state park. A variety of activities are available for everyone, including water sports, fishing, swimming, hiking, cross country skiing, camping, and wildlife viewing.
