Eagle Creek Campground

This campground hosts 20 campsites along the Shoshone River, all of which contain RV parking, bear boxes, fire rings/grills, and picnic tables. One and a half miles east of the campground there are two trailheads, with corrals for public use, that lead into the Washakie Wilderness. This campground hosts 20 campsites along the Shoshone River, all of which contain RV parking, bear boxes, fire rings/grills, and picnic tables. One and a half miles east of the campground there are two trailheads, with corrals for public use, that lead into the Washakie Wilderness. A footbridge that crosses the river exists at the campground, but is closed to use due to safety hazards caused by recent flooding activity. There is a 16-day stay and is accessible to persons with mobility impairments. No cell service. Notes: Hard-sided camping only. Due to grizzly bear activity, no tents or pop-up campers allowed. Maximum spur 40 feet. Food storage is required.
