The Boy Scouts of America own and manage this massive 500 plus acre camp. The camp offers boat moorage, limited hiking, primitive camping, and other water oriented activities. Hundreds of thousands of scouts have enjoyed summer and winter camps here since it opened in 1959. The camp also offers paved roads, camp buildings, dining halls, a shop building, a chapel, and many more dwellings.
